The Kiefer chainsaw protective trousers from Feldtmann are built for anyone who works with a chainsaw and needs to rely on their protective clothing – whether in forestry, landscaping, or tree care. The green trousers with red trim offer both a practical look and good visibility on the job.
The outer material is 100% polyester with a water- and dirt-repellent finish, which keeps the trousers workable even in wet foliage, mud, or resin. A stretch panel in the crotch area allows freedom of movement when climbing, bending, or striding. A particularly practical detail: the cut-resistant lining is not fixed to the hem, so the outer fabric can be repaired independently if damaged, without compromising protection. A YKK® zip and a well-thought-out pocket layout with two side pockets, one back pocket, and one ruler pocket complete the design.
The trousers meet EN ISO 11393 Part 2, Class 1, Protection Zone Form A, meaning they are tested for chainsaw use up to defined cutting speeds. They are also FPA-approved and carry the KWF standard, while the cut-resistant lining is DPLF-tested – all recognised marks of reliable protective quality in forestry work.
This makes the Kiefer well suited for forestry workers, arborists, and anyone who regularly handles a chainsaw and values certified protective gear. The trousers are available in sizes 44 to 64 and are supplied in a pack of 5.
