The CoverStar CSASC4 sleeved apron is a disposable protective garment designed for tasks where clothing and skin need protection against liquids and biological hazards. Its closed front and tie fastenings at the neck and waist cover the torso and arms completely, while still allowing the fit to be adjusted to different body sizes.
The apron is made from PP nonwoven fabric with a microporous film laminate, a material that repels liquids while staying light and comfortable to wear throughout a shift. Taped seams keep liquids from seeping through at the joins, and the knitted cuffs at the sleeves give a secure, snug finish without restricting movement. The antistatic treatment is a useful extra in environments where sensitive equipment or flammable substances are a concern.
Tested to EN 14325 and classified as PPE Category III, Type PB 4B, the apron provides spray-tight protection against liquid chemicals as well as protection against infectious agents and other biological hazards. Type PB 4B refers to partial body protection against liquid spray, the kind of protection typically needed in cleaning work, medical settings, food processing, or handling chemicals.
