The CoverStar® CAS-60 is a disposable sleeve protector designed for any task where arms and forearms need shielding from dirt or contamination. Elastic bands at both ends keep the sleeves securely in place without restricting movement, and help stop dust or splashes from creeping in from below. A blue-stitched upper-arm seam makes the sleeves easy to spot at a glance, useful in workplaces running several protection levels or work zones side by side.
The material is a PP spunbond nonwoven with a microporous film laminate. This combination is light and flexible, so the sleeves stay comfortable to wear over longer periods without getting in the way, while still offering enough liquid resistance to guard against fine particles and splashes. The antistatic finish reduces static build-up in the fabric, a real plus in environments with sensitive components or combustible dust.
The sleeves are tested to EN 14325, the standard for protective clothing against chemicals, and classified as PPE Category III, Type PB 6B. In practice, that means limited splash protection for the upper arm, the kind of cover needed when working with paints, lacquers or adhesives, or in cleaning and spray-painting jobs. As a disposable item sold in bulk packs of 200, the CAS-60 suits businesses that keep larger stocks of protective gear on hand and replace it after every use.
