This women's hybrid jacket from Blaklader combines warm padding with functional softshell elements, making it suited to anyone working outdoors or in changeable weather – from tradeswomen and gardeners to drivers, cleaners, warehouse staff and service workers. The two-way zip, detachable hood and fleece-lined collar turn it into a garment that adapts to the working day rather than the other way round.
The body is made from a 3-layer softshell material with an elastane content that stretches while staying windproof and breathable. The warmly padded chest panel provides warmth without restricting movement, while the side panels and adjustable cuffs with hook-and-loop fastening keep the jacket close to the body even when you're on the move. Because no seams have been taped, the material stays breathable without losing its waterproof performance – a balance that shows up in daily wear as less sweating while still staying dry.
The sleeves and hood are made from a windproof and waterproof material rated at 11,000 mm water column with a Ret value of 20.0, keeping out both rain and wind while letting moisture escape from the inside. The adjustable waist with drawcord and the reflective details on the sleeves add further fit and visibility in low-light conditions. The fabric is certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100, indicating it has been tested for harmful substances.
With its extended back, chest pocket and zipped front pockets, the jacket is built for practical use in trades, landscaping, warehouse and service roles, while working just as well for everyday wear off the job.
