The Blaklader 5940 knitted jacket combines the look of a fashionable knit sweater with the functionality of a proper workwear piece. The fixed hood and hybrid construction make it just as suitable for everyday work as for time off duty, appealing to tradespeople, gardeners, drivers, electricians, roofers, installers, painters and warehouse staff alike. Available for both men and women, in nine sizes from 4XL to XXXL and seven colour combinations.
What sets this jacket apart is its material: a new three-dimensional fleece made from jacquard knit, brushed on one side, with a stretch component thanks to 3% elastane. The result is a soft, supple feel against the skin combined with genuine warmth. Exposed areas are reinforced with softshell panels that boost durability and add protection against wind and moisture, while the underarms are left free of these inserts to keep airflow going during physical work.
The practical details carry the design further: a zippered chest pocket and two zippered front pockets, plus reinforced shoulders for extra durability. An extended back, an elastic hem band and elasticated cuffs keep the jacket in place during movement. A plastic two-way zip with an inner wind flap completes the build and stays easy to operate even with gloves on.
