This Blaklader winter parka is designed for anyone who has to work outside through frost, wind and rain – whether on a construction site, in a warehouse, doing groundskeeping work or driving for a living. The high, fleece-lined collar, the detachable and adjustable hood, and the fleece-lined pockets keep the cold from getting through at the points where it matters most. Adjustable cuffs with thumb holes and an adjustable waist let you fine-tune the fit to your build and to extra layers underneath.
The outer fabric is a coated polyester twill with added stretch, waterproof to 11,000 mm yet still breathable, so moisture from the inside can escape instead of building up. The seams are taped, which keeps the parka reliably watertight even in prolonged rain. The warm quilted lining with fleece at the hem provides genuine cold protection without restricting movement, and the concealed two-way plastic zip stays easy to operate even in freezing conditions.
The parka is certified to EN 342, the standard for protective clothing against cold, with this protection level achieved in combination with the 1810 winter trousers. It also meets EN 343 for protective clothing against bad weather at class 4,1, meaning in practical terms that it reliably shields against wind and rain. Reflective details on the chest pocket, hood and sleeves improve visibility in poor light.
This makes the parka a strong choice for tradespeople, gardeners, drivers, electricians, cleaning staff and warehouse workers who are regularly out in the cold or in unheated environments during winter.
