The WX3 Modaflame Work FR Service Trousers are built for anyone whose job brings them into contact with heat, flame or electrostatically sensitive environments, without having to sacrifice freedom of movement. Part of the WX3 collection, they combine functional multi-norm protection with a cut designed for real working conditions: pre-shaped knees, stretch panels across key movement zones and a side elasticated waistband keep the trousers moving with the body rather than restricting it.
The inherently flame-resistant Modaflame fabric, at 280 g/m², carries its protective properties within the fibre itself rather than as a surface treatment, so performance holds up under repeated wear. In everyday use this translates into a fabric that feels sturdy without being stiff. Locked stitching at all stress points and a heat-resistant reflective tape reinforce that these trousers are made for sustained, demanding use. Eight pockets, including leg cargo pockets and a rule pocket, plus height-adjustable knee pad pockets, provide practical storage without getting in the way of tools or movement.
The trousers carry CE-CAT III certification and are suitable for use in ATEX environments, offering protection where explosive atmospheres are a concern. The non-magnetic, nickel- and iron-free construction also makes them a sound choice for workplaces where magnetic interference needs to be avoided. The fabric is rated UPF 40+, blocking 98% of UV rays, making it a practical option for outdoor work too. Adjustable leg length, from 31 to 33 inches, allows a closer fit to individual height.
