The WX3 Modaflame Rain+ FR Shell Trousers are built for demanding, multi-hazard environments where rain, chemical exposure, arc flash and welding risks can occur together. With ten pockets, including flapped cargo pockets, zipped side pockets and height-adjustable knee pad pockets, they offer generous storage and adapt to different working positions. A tool loop on the waistband keeps tools secure and within easy reach.
The trousers are waterproof and breathable, with sealed seams that keep water out. A half-elasticated waistband and a raised back section provide a secure fit and freedom of movement even in kneeling or bent working positions. The inherent flame resistance of the fabric is not affected by washing, so the protective performance holds up through regular use and cleaning.
The protective features address several hazard types at once: the trousers guard against radiant, convective and contact heat as well as the risks from arc flash, chemicals and welding work. An external standards label allows the protection level to be checked at a glance directly on the garment. Being non-magnetic, nickel- and iron-free, and CE certified, the trousers are also suitable for use in ATEX environments, where specific material and construction requirements apply.
