Product information "WX3 FR Modaflame Softshell Jacket"
The WX3 FR Modaflame softshell jacket is built for people working in genuinely hazardous environments who still need reliable weather protection and all-day comfort. With CE Cat III certification and suitability for ATEX zones, it's aimed at users facing multiple risks at once, from flame and heat exposure to electrostatic build-up.
The three-layer softshell fabric combines modacrylic and carbon fibre elements, making it flame-resistant while also staying windproof, water-resistant and breathable. In practice that means a jacket that holds up in wind and rain without trapping heat underneath, helped further by back ventilation for comfort during long shifts. Adjustable cuffs with hook-and-loop fastening and a fold-down hem let the fit be tailored to the job, keeping the elements out where it matters.
Protection goes beyond flame resistance: the fabric withstands radiant and convective heat, offers chemical and anti-static properties, and is built entirely metal-free, so no nickel or iron parts, which matters in non-magnetic working environments. The UPF 40+ rated fabric also blocks 98% of UV rays, and the heat-resistant, flame-retardant reflective tape improves visibility without becoming a hazard itself under heat exposure.
With eight well-placed pockets offering plenty of storage for tools and personal items, this jacket suits professionals in industry, utilities, petrochemicals and other sectors where flame, heat or ATEX hazards are part of the job.
