The outer shell combines Nomex® with Lenzing® flame-resistant viscose, giving the jacket a tough yet flexible base layer. It is waterproof and breathable, with welded seams that keep water out without trapping heat and moisture against the body during demanding work. Knitted cuffs with thumb loops and a hook-and-loop closure at the sleeve keep the sleeves securely in place during movement, while the anti-wicking tape at the hem stops liquids from being drawn up into the fabric.
Small details add up to real practicality: deep-set front pockets with hook-and-loop fastening and press-stud tabs let firefighters secure their gloves within reach, a radio pocket sized to fit all garment sizes keeps communication gear accessible, and the quick-release zip allows fast dressing and undressing when every second counts.
