The Bizweld Work FR jacket is built for anyone whose working day involves heat, sparks or open flame, without giving up everyday comfort. As a flame-resistant jacket from the Bizweld Work collection, it pairs practical details such as a concealed stud front, two flapped chest pockets and a hidden phone pocket with a protection concept designed for hot working environments.
The concealed front placket keeps the studs out of the way of hot surfaces or sparks while still making the jacket quick to put on and take off. Adjustable cuffs let you tailor the fit at the wrist, so the jacket stays secure during movement and leaves no gaps for heat or sparks to get through. With three pockets in total, a radio loop and the hidden phone pocket, there's still enough room to keep essentials close at hand despite all the protective features.
The jacket guards against radiant, convective and contact heat and is certified against splashes of molten metal, a level of protection typically needed for welding, casting or other hot-work tasks. As a CE Category III product, it sits in the highest PPE risk category, reserved for equipment designed against serious, irreversible hazards. The external standards label makes it easy to check the protection levels at a glance without having to take the jacket off. The fabric is also rated UPF 40+, blocking 98% of UV rays, a useful bonus for anyone working outdoors.
