The TYSH-AR overshoes from the Tyvek 500 range protect footwear and lower legs during work involving contamination, liquids or biological hazards. An elastic band at the top combined with fixing straps keeps the covers securely in place on the leg, even during movement, while the slip-resistant sole provides extra grip on smooth or wet floors typical of cleaning tasks or moist environments.
The material is a polyethylene spunbond nonwoven, the same fabric family known from Tyvek products: lightweight yet tear-resistant, with internally bound seams that add extra protection against penetration at the seam lines. The fabric's antistatic finish helps prevent uncontrolled electrostatic discharge, which matters in settings with sensitive electronics or combustible dust. This finish does not extend to the adhesive tape, but the base material itself is treated accordingly.
The overshoes are tested to EN 14126, the standard for protective clothing against infective agents, and classified as PPE Category III, Type 6B. In practice, this means limited protection against liquid chemical splashes, making the covers suitable for tasks with an elevated contamination risk, such as in medical technology, cleaning and disinfection work, or food processing. Supplied as consumable stock with a minimum order of 200 pieces, the TYSH-AR is well suited to regular operational demand.
