The Rofa switching coat 881769, part of the EUROTEST 10 kA APC 1 - APC 2 collection, is designed for work carried out in environments with an elevated risk of electric arc flash. The stand-up collar adds protection around the neck, while the front closure with press studs and hook-and-loop fastening keeps the coat securely in place. Two side pockets with flaps and press studs, plus a left inside chest pocket, provide practical storage for tools and personal items without compromising the protective design.
The coat is made from Material 88, a twill fabric blend of 78% cotton, 20% polyester and 2% other fibres, weighing approximately 330 g/sqm and flame-retardant treated. The front panel and sleeves are constructed in two layers, adding durability where it matters most and maintaining comfort even during long shifts. The cotton content keeps the fabric pleasant against the skin, while the polyester share helps the garment hold its shape over time.
A pictogram tab on the right-hand side pocket shows at a glance which protection classes the coat meets, which makes daily distribution in workplaces easier to manage.
