The Ultim 8 safety glasses from Feldtmann are a versatile eye protection solution for anyone who needs reliable protection at work while staying flexible about how they wear it. The set includes the glasses with temple arms, and can also be worn with a headband, which is available as an optional add-on. This makes the Ultim 8 easy to adapt to different tasks and situations, for example when extra clearance is needed alongside a hard hat or hearing protection.
The clear lens is made of polycarbonate and comes with both a scratch-resistant and an anti-fog coating. In daily use, this means lasting clear vision even when the glasses are put on and taken off frequently or used across changing temperatures, without the lens clouding up or scratching quickly. The frame, made from PC and TPR in black and red, sits securely and comfortably, and the low weight of around 64 grams keeps the glasses comfortable even during extended wear.
The Ultim 8 meets the requirements of EN 166, providing mechanical protection against high-speed particles, including at extreme temperatures between -5 and +55 degrees Celsius. When worn with the headband, it also offers protection against liquid droplets, coarse dust, and gas and fine dust. Since the frame and lens carry different impact ratings, the complete unit is classified according to the lower rating, corresponding to low-energy impact.
