The Univet 5X7 safety glasses are designed as overspecs, fitting comfortably over prescription eyewear without compromising fit. The temples are length-adjustable, allowing the glasses to be tailored to different head shapes, and at roughly 37 grams they stay light even during extended wear.
The lens is made of clear polycarbonate with a scratch-resistant coating, which in daily use means clear, lasting visibility even under frequent handling. The black and orange frame includes side shields that provide additional protection against particles entering from the side, while built-in UV 400 protection filters out ultraviolet radiation.
Certified to EN 166, the glasses protect against high-speed particles, indicated by the FT marking, and this protection is maintained even at extreme temperatures between -5 and +55 degrees Celsius. The K marking confirms the scratch-resistant lens coating, which extends the glasses' service life in demanding work environments.
This makes the Univet 5X7 a solid choice for any setting where flying particles are a risk, such as metalworking, construction sites or workshop environments. The glasses come individually packed with a euro-slot hole and are also available in larger bulk quantities, making them a practical option for equipping entire teams.
