The Tector Wire safety glasses are designed as over-spectacles, making them the right choice for anyone who already wears prescription glasses at work but still needs reliable eye protection on top. Weighing only around 44 grams, they stay comfortable even during long shifts.
The frame combines polycarbonate, TPR and a wire core running through the temples. This gives the temples flexibility so they can be adjusted individually to fit the shape of the head without losing their form, while the rubberised coating keeps them securely in place. The clear lens is also made of polycarbonate and finished with a scratch-resistant coating, which noticeably extends the glasses' working life and keeps vision clear even after frequent putting on and taking off.
The glasses meet EN 166, the standard that sets out basic requirements for mechanical eye protection, confirming protection against impacts and flying particles in the workplace. Built-in side shields work alongside the lens to guard the eyes from debris approaching from the side as well.
The Tector Wire is supplied individually packed with a euro-slot hanger and is sold as bulk stock with a minimum order quantity of 12 pieces, making it a practical option for equipping whole teams or workplaces.
