The Tector® Desperado is a frameless pair of safety glasses designed for anyone who needs reliable, lightweight eye protection on the job without sacrificing comfort. At roughly 31 grams, it's one of the lighter models in its class, making it a good fit for tasks where the glasses are worn for extended periods.
Both the lens and the frame are made from clear polycarbonate, a material known for absorbing impacts well while staying light on the face. The scratch-resistant coating helps the lens stay clear even with frequent handling or when set down on rough surfaces, and the built-in UV 400 protection filters out UV radiation, making the glasses a solid choice for outdoor work as well.
The Desperado is certified to EN 166 and carries the FT marking, confirming protection against high-speed particles even at extreme temperatures ranging from -5 to +55 °C. That makes it a dependable option anywhere chips, splinters, or flying debris are a risk, whether in a cold storage area or a hot workshop floor.
