The Tector® Lens is a browline safety spectacle with integrated reading correction, designed for anyone who needs their usual eyesight support even while wearing protective eyewear at work. Dioptre strengths range from +1.0 to +3.0, so wearers of reading glasses can choose the right version without having to wear a separate pair underneath. This makes the model particularly suited to close-up tasks where eye protection and vision correction are both needed at the same time.
Both the lens and frame are made from polycarbonate, with a clear, scratch-resistant coating that keeps the lens looking clear even after frequent use and handling. Flexible nose pads and flexible temples let the glasses adjust to different head shapes and stay comfortable during long shifts. The added side shields protect the eyes from lateral exposure as well, without adding noticeably to the low weight of around 27 grams.
The glasses are certified to EN 166, the basic standard for eye protection, which confirms essential requirements for stability and safety in working environments. This makes them suitable for general mechanical eye protection against hazards such as dust, splinters or splashes, common across many trade and industrial settings.
The Tector® Lens ships individually packed with euro-slot hanging holes and is sold as bulk pack goods with a minimum order quantity of 12 pieces, making it a practical choice for equipping whole teams or workplaces. A matching case, item number 41900, is available separately to keep the glasses protected when not in use.
