The Tector® Sprint is a classic spectacle-style safety eyewear designed for anyone who needs reliable yet lightweight eye protection on the job. At around 23 grams, it sits comfortably on the face and barely feels like it's there, making it a solid choice for workshops, construction sites, or production environments where glasses are worn for hours at a stretch.
The lens is made from clear polycarbonate with a scratch-resistant coating, while the frame is built from tough polycarbonate in black and orange. In everyday use, that combination means the glasses hold up well to frequent handling and light contact with tools or materials without scratching easily. Flexible nose pads and temples let the glasses adjust to different head shapes, keeping them comfortable even during extended wear.
The Sprint is certified to EN 166 and offers increased mechanical strength, verified by an impact test using a 43-gram steel ball travelling at 5.1 m/s - listed in the spec sheet as marking S. In practical terms, that means protection against impacts and flying particles, the kind of hazards common in grinding, drilling, or assembly work. The lens also blocks UV radiation up to UV 400.
The glasses are individually packed with a euro-slot hanger and sold as bulk goods with a minimum order of 12 units, making them a practical option for businesses that need to keep staff regularly equipped with fresh eye protection. A matching case (item no. 41900) is also available.
