The Blaklader STRIKER Shell Jacket is built as a third layer or outer shell, aimed at anyone working outdoors in changing weather, from construction sites to service vehicles and delivery rounds. It is also available as women's model 4708, so companies can outfit both male and female staff in a matching style.
The three-layer fabric, made from polyamide with an elastane content, gives the jacket genuine 4-way stretch, allowing free movement even during physically demanding tasks. The seams are ultrasonically welded rather than stitched, which keeps them soft against the body while staying fully sealed. Underarm zips provide extra ventilation whenever needed, and the front zip with a wind flap adds further protection against the elements. The roomy, water-repellent zipped pockets are large enough for documents, complemented by two inner pockets and a wrist pocket.
The jacket is certified to EN 343 class 4,4, the top rating for both water penetration resistance and water vapour resistance, meaning it keeps out sustained rain while still letting moisture escape from the inside so you don't end up damp from your own sweat. An adjustable waist, hook-and-loop cuff fastenings and a fixed, adjustable hood let you fine-tune the fit to the weather and to whatever layers you're wearing underneath. Reflective details on the sleeves improve visibility in low light.
