The SG Grip15 Eco is a lightweight nitrile glove designed for tasks that demand precision, without compromising on sustainability. Its liner is made from recycled PET yarn sourced from plastic bottles, saving 227 g of CO2 per pair compared to conventional yarns. A unique knit construction with a dropped little finger delivers a comfortable, secure fit, and the touchscreen-compatible index finger and thumb mean there's no need to remove the glove to use a phone or tablet.
The 15-gauge yarn manages moisture to keep hands dry even during extended wear, while the ultra-thin micro-foam nitrile coating with its micro-cup structure provides reliable grip in both wet and dry conditions. As a synthetic rubber, nitrile also offers solid resistance to oils, fuels, acids and alkalis while staying flexible and comfortable on the hand. An antimicrobial treatment helps keep the material hygienic, which is particularly useful with frequent use.
This glove is CE certified, approved for food contact, and tested to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100. Being silicone-free, it's well suited to manufacturing, painting, electronics assembly and glass handling, where silicone residue can cause issues, and it has been tested for paint-wetting impairment substances (LABS compliance), confirming its suitability for paint shop environments. It also provides contact heat resistance up to 100°C, making it practical for occasional work involving warm surfaces.
