The PW3 Modaflame Work Hi-Vis FR trousers are built for anyone working on construction sites, in industrial settings or wherever heat and flame hazards are part of the job, without having to sacrifice freedom of movement. As a multi-norm garment it covers several protection requirements at once, while still being trousers you can comfortably wear through a full shift.
The Modaflame fabric is inherently flame-resistant, and this property does not diminish over the working life of the trousers. Reinforced FR fabric is added at the main wear points to boost durability, backed up by continuous triple-stitched seams that hold up under repeated stress. Stretch panels in key movement zones together with a side elasticated waistband mean bending, kneeling and reaching stay easy rather than restrictive.
The trousers are CE certified and suitable for wear in ATEX environments, meaning areas where explosive atmospheres may occur. They are also non-magnetic, being nickel- and iron-free, which matters in certain sensitive work settings. The heat-resistant, flame-retardant reflective tape keeps working even under heat exposure, and together with the reflective piping it keeps the wearer visible. The fabric is also rated UPF 40+, blocking 98 percent of UV rays.
For everyday practicality, the trousers offer top-loading kneepad pockets, leg cargo pockets, a rule pocket and a multi-purpose thigh pocket for a phone, keys or tools. With eight pockets in total and an extendable leg length of 31 to 33 inches, they adapt to different body sizes and job requirements, making them a strong fit for plant work, oil and gas environments, or any role where flame protection and visibility both matter.
