The PW3 Modaflame Rain+ Hi-Vis FR winter trousers are built for workers facing more than one hazard at once, from open flame and arc flash to chemical exposure and cold, wet conditions. Part of the PW3 range, they combine flame-resistant protection with a high ARC rating and a winter-ready construction. The two-tone hi-vis design also keeps you visible on site.
Inside, the trousers are fully lined and padded, with a flame-resistant cotton lining that traps warmth and keeps the cold out during long outdoor shifts. Welded seams add an extra layer of protection without restricting movement. A side elasticated waistband and side leg zips make it easy to get in and out even over bulky clothing, while the adjustable hook-and-loop hem fastening helps get the fit right.
The trousers are CE certified and rated CE-CAT III, meaning they're designed for serious, irreversible risks. They protect against radiant and contact heat, resist chemicals and rain, and are non-magnetic, nickel- and iron-free, making them suitable for ATEX environments. The heat-resistant, flame-retardant reflective tape stays effective even under demanding conditions.
With nine pockets in total, including leg cargo pockets, a rule pocket and height-adjustable knee pad pockets with two positioning options, storage and fit are well thought through. The removable, interchangeable holster pockets let you customise their placement or take them off entirely. That combination makes these trousers a strong match for workers in oil and gas, industrial plant work, or welding, wherever flame resistance, arc protection and weatherproofing all matter at once.
