The PW3 Modaflame Multi Norm Arc Softshell Jacket is built for professionals working in environments where several hazards overlap at once, such as sites combining flame risk, chemical exposure and static build-up. Its 3-layer softshell fabric with modacrylic and carbon fibre elements combines flame, chemical, antistatic and hi-vis protection in a single garment, so no extra protective layers are needed on top.
The fabric is hard-wearing, breathable, windproof and water-repellent all at once, which keeps the jacket reliable outdoors in changeable weather. Its inherent flame resistance is not affected by washing, so the protection does not rely on a finish that can wear off over time. The Acti-Reach single-panel construction keeps the arms and upper body mobile when reaching, twisting or turning, addressing a common limitation of multi-layer protective jackets. Hook-and-loop cuff fastenings, a fold-down hem and a chin guard add a secure fit and extra comfort during long shifts.
The jacket protects against radiant and convective heat and is antistatic as well as nickel- and iron-free, making it non-magnetic. The zip is flame-resistant and the reflective tape is heat-resistant and low-flammability, so even the smaller components hold up to the same standard as the main fabric. The jacket is CE certified and suitable for use in ATEX environments, which matters for workplaces with an explosive atmosphere.
Two generous zipped pockets and two radio loops make the jacket practical for jobs where tools or a radio need to stay within reach, such as oil and gas work, electrical work or industrial plant sites. The orange/black and yellow/black colourways also add visibility on site or on the road.
