This Multinorm sweatshirt from Blaklader is designed for tradespeople and electricians who need reliable multi-hazard protection without sacrificing comfort. The round neckline and ribbed cuffs and hem give it a relaxed, comfortable fit, while the broken flame-resistant transfer reflective stripes keep you visible without restricting movement.
The fabric blends modacrylic, cotton and an antistatic fibre, with a brushed fleece knit on the inside. That means a soft feel against the skin, while the fabric itself is inherently flame-resistant, so the protection is built into the fibres rather than relying on a surface treatment that could wear off. At 280 g/m², the fabric is sturdy enough for daily wear on site or in electrical work.
The certifications cover several hazards at once. EN ISO 20471 class 1 confirms the visibility performance for work near traffic or on construction sites, EN ISO 11612 protects against heat and flames, EN 1149-5 limits electrostatic build-up, and IEC 61482-2 verifies arc protection, rated at 13 cal/cm² (EBT) and 12 cal/cm² (ELIM).
