This sweatshirt from Blaklader is designed as a base layer for work environments where protection against heat, flames and arc flash matters, without sacrificing wearing comfort. Contrast-coloured double-layer reinforcements at the elbows and shoulders add durability and visibility exactly where the garment takes the most wear.
The fabric is a blend of 60% modacrylic, 39% cotton and 1% antistatic fibre, knitted and brushed on the inside for a soft, terry-like feel. That means a comfortable next-to-skin layer even during long shifts, while the outer face carries the flame-retardant and antistatic properties of the material. The ribbed hem and cuffs keep the fit secure through movement and repeated wear.
