The Modaflame Work HVO trousers are built for multi-hazard work environments and designed to be worn with the matching MV35 jacket as part of a complete protective system. They suit professionals who need flame resistance combined with protection against chemical splashes, arc flash and welding hazards, all while staying visible thanks to high-vis colouring and contrast elements that highlight visible soiling.
The fabric is inherently flame resistant, meaning the protection is built into the fibre itself and does not wash out even after industrial laundering. A Texpel finish helps the fabric repel dirt and stains, keeping it easier to maintain through daily wear on site. An elastic waistband at the back keeps the fit secure during movement, and nine pockets, including an easy-access cargo pocket, a rule pocket and height-adjustable knee pad pockets, provide well-organised, generous storage. A concealed phone pocket keeps devices protected from damage.
On the protection side, these trousers cover a wide range of risks: they guard against radiant, convective and contact heat, are antistatic, and are non-magnetic through the exclusion of nickel and iron, making them suitable for ATEX environments with explosion risk. The fabric also carries a UPF 40+ rating, blocking 98% of UV rays. CE certification to CE-CAT III confirms protection against serious, irreversible hazards.
This makes the trousers a strong fit for oil and gas work, welding operations, chemical industry settings and any role where several hazards overlap and dependable combined protection is essential.
