The MaxiChem® Cut™ (76-733) by ATG® is a chemical protection glove designed for anyone who regularly handles liquids and chemicals at work but doesn't want to sacrifice dexterity or comfort. Classified as PPE Category III, it is built for protection against serious, irreversible health risks, making it suitable for users with correspondingly high safety requirements.
The glove is built around TRItech™ three-layer technology: a liner made from UHMWPE, glass fibre, nylon, polyester and spandex combines with a latex coating to create a construction that is noticeably thinner than earlier designs. In practice, this means better tactile feedback and less hand fatigue during tasks that demand precision, without compromising on mechanical stability.
LIQUItech® technology gives the glove its chemical resistance, confirmed by EN ISO 374-1 and EN ISO 374-5, which cover protection against chemicals and micro-organisms respectively. The glove also meets EN 388 for mechanical hazards such as cuts, abrasion and tear resistance, and EN 407 for heat resistance, alongside the general requirements for protective gloves set out in EN ISO 21420. All performance values relate to the palm area, and the glove is also suitable for food contact under Regulation (EC) 1935/2004. As a Type A chemical protection glove, it is specifically designed for safe handling of liquids and chemicals, not for protection against jagged edges or open cutting tools.
This makes the MaxiChem® Cut™ well suited to work environments where chemical exposure and mechanical stress occur together, such as the chemical industry, cleaning and maintenance work, or laboratory and production settings.
