The MaxiChem® 76-830 from ATG® is a chemical protection glove built for anyone who regularly handles liquids and chemicals at work and needs both reliable protection and good hand feel. As a Type A chemical protection glove, it is designed for tasks where direct contact with hazardous substances is part of the job.
The stretch nylon lining gives the glove a comfortable, close fit that moves naturally with the hand, while the NBR (nitrile butadiene rubber) coating provides the actual barrier against chemicals. Thanks to the TRItech™ three-layer technology, the glove is noticeably thinner than earlier versions, which has a direct effect on tactile sensitivity and dexterity without compromising mechanical performance. For anyone wearing the glove over longer periods, this reduced material build-up means less hand fatigue.
The MaxiChem® is certified to EN ISO 21420:2020+A1:2024 as a general protective glove, to EN ISO 374-1:2016+A1:2018 and EN ISO 374-5:2016 for protection against chemicals and micro-organisms, and to EN 388:2016+A1:2018 for mechanical risks. This places it in PPE category III, the classification used for equipment protecting against irreversible harm to health. All stated performance values relate to the palm of the hand; the glove is not designed to protect against jagged edges, cutting, or open blades.
This makes the MaxiChem® 76-830 well suited to work in industry, laboratories, chemical cleaning, and maintenance, wherever contact with liquids and chemicals is routine and fine dexterity still matters. Available in sizes 7 to 11, it can be matched to the wearer's hand size.
