The MAPA® Ultrane 553 is a nitrile-coated glove designed for tasks that demand both fine motor control and a secure grip. Its close-fitting knitted liner keeps the hand free to move naturally, while the nitrile palm coating keeps dirt and debris out. This combination makes it a solid choice for assembly, logistics, and manufacturing work where precise handling with the fingers is essential.
The liner is made from 100% polyamide in a knitted-tricot construction, giving the glove a snug, comfortable fit without restricting movement. The black nitrile coating on the palm resists oils and greases and offers good abrasion resistance, which translates into a longer working life in daily use. A key detail for paint shops and similar environments: the coating is silicone-free, preventing residue on metal sheets or glass ahead of painting. The glove is also free of DMF, keeping it clear of this particular substance.
The EN 388 standard covers protective gloves against mechanical risks such as abrasion, cutting, tearing, and puncture, giving a clear indication of how the glove performs under everyday physical strain.
