The MAPA® Ultrane 551 is a PU-coated fine-knit glove designed for tasks where a good sense of touch and precise grip matter most. It suits anyone who needs a lightweight, close-fitting glove for assembly, sorting or inspection work, where bulkier gloves would only get in the way.
The liner is made from 100% polyamide knitted fabric, coated with polyurethane. Thanks to its reduced wall thickness, the glove stays highly flexible and fits snugly on the hand without limiting finger movement. The cellular structure of the polyurethane coating absorbs sweat, which improves comfort during longer wear, while the coating itself offers excellent abrasion resistance for extended service life. Being silicone-free, the glove leaves no residue on sheet metal or glass, making it a practical choice for work carried out ahead of painting or coating processes.
The Ultrane 551 meets EN 388, the standard covering protection against mechanical risks such as abrasion, cuts, tearing and puncture. This makes it well suited to everyday handling of tools, components and rough-surfaced materials where basic mechanical protection is needed.
The glove is certified to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 and free from harmful substances. It is sold as bulk packaging with a minimum order quantity of 10 pairs, making it a practical choice for trade buyers in manufacturing, logistics or paint shop environments.
