The DALEKA01 hood from the Mauser product line completes multi-standard workwear wherever head and neck need extra protection. The drawstring and button fastening allow it to be adjusted for a secure fit and attached firmly to a jacket or coverall, so it stays in place during movement.
The fabric is 100% cotton with antistatic fibres woven in, at a weight of around 350 g/m². This makes for a dense, hard-wearing material that feels comfortable against the skin and holds its shape through regular use. The cotton base gives a natural feel, while the antistatic fibres help dissipate electrostatic charge.
The hood is tested to EN 1149, the standard covering the electrostatic properties of protective clothing. In practice, this means the fabric is designed to discharge static build-up rather than store it, which matters in work environments with flammable dusts or vapours. As Category II PPE, the hood is intended for medium-risk hazards.
