The FR58 is a flame-resistant winter bib and brace from the Bizflame™ Work range, built for the demands of the offshore industry. It shares its outer fabric with the FR50 but adds an extra insulating layer and an FR cotton lining for added warmth. That makes it the right choice for anyone who needs flame-resistant protection through cold, wind and winter conditions, on site or offshore.
The garment is finished with triple-stitched seams that hold up under sustained wear, along with a robust brass zip that sits concealed at the front so no metal is exposed on the outside. The large leg zips open wide enough to fit over safety boots, making it far easier to get dressed and undressed on site. A fully elasticated waistband and adjustable buckle braces let it sit comfortably over additional layers.
The bib and brace protects against radiant and contact heat and meets the required welding standard with Class 2 welding protection, making it suitable for work around sparks and flame. An anti-wicking tape at the hem stops liquids from soaking into the fabric and compromising protection. The fabric also carries a UPF 40+ rating, blocking 98% of UV rays, while sewn-on reflective tape improves visibility. Classification under CE Cat III, together with CE certification and UKCA marking, confirms it is built for professional use in high-risk environments such as offshore work.
