The EV4 Shell rain jacket is built for anyone working outdoors in wind and rain who still wants to move freely. Its ergonomic profile with raglan sleeves, extended back length and pre-shaped elbows means the jacket moves with you when reaching, turning or stretching, rather than holding you back. The single-panel Acti-Reach™ construction across the upper body adds to this, which makes a real difference when working overhead or with arms extended.
The fabric is a 3-layer waterproof construction with 4-way stretch, combining waterproofing and breathability without feeling stiff or heavy to wear. Taped seams and waterproof zips keep moisture from creeping in at the seams and closures, while underarm zips let you vent excess heat when things warm up underneath. The PFAS-free Texpel™ Splash Eco finish makes water bead off the surface, so the fabric stays light and dry even in sustained rain rather than soaking through.
Every detail is geared towards outdoor use: the adjustable, helmet-compatible hood with drawcord adjusts both vertically and horizontally, the chin guard adds comfort at the collar, and storm cuffs with hook-and-loop fastening plus an adjustable, roll-away hem seal out wind and wet.
