This detectable ear plug with cord was developed specifically for use in the food industry, where a lost ear plug can pose a real risk to product safety. The built-in cord not only improves visibility on the shop floor but also makes the plug detectable should it accidentally end up in the production line. Supplied as a 200-pair pack with individual wrapping, it's a practical choice for businesses with high turnover, such as stocking dispenser boxes or vending units.
The plug itself is made from soft PU foam and shaped conically, making it easy to insert and just as easy to remove. The material moulds to the shape of the ear canal, giving a comfortable fit even during extended wear. A cord lock keeps the band secure, so the plug can be worn around the neck during short breaks without getting lost.
Each pair comes individually sealed in a hygienic, resealable polybag complete with instructions for use, a detail that supports cleanliness and order in food processing environments. The ear plug is CE certified to category CE-CAT III, making it suitable for professional use in noisy work areas where strict hygiene standards also apply, such as meat, fish or dairy processing.
