The CP5SH-AS overshoe from the CoverChemPlus range protects footwear and lower legs from dirt and contamination when working in demanding environments. An elasticated top edge keeps the boot securely in place, while two additional ties allow it to be fastened individually so it stays put even during movement. The anti-slip sole provides extra grip on smooth or contaminated surfaces.
The overshoe is made from PP spunbond fabric with a polymer coating. The nonwoven base is lightweight and comfortable to wear, and the coating makes the surface resistant to liquids and easy to handle without feeling stiff or restrictive. An antistatic treatment prevents the build-up of static charge, which matters in environments with sensitive equipment or flammable substances nearby.
Testing to EN 14325 confirms the material's performance against various chemicals and particles, placing it in PPE Category III as Type PB 3B – meaning partial body protection against liquid and solid chemicals in spray form. This makes the overshoe suitable for tasks where feet and lower legs need targeted protection from contamination, such as in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, laboratories, or cleaning and remediation work.
Supplied in green as bulk goods, the CP5SH-AS comes in units of 50 pairs, making it a practical choice for regular operational use and straightforward reordering.
