The teXXor® Canvas TOBAGO work trousers are a 2-in-1 solution for anyone who needs to switch between long trousers and shorts depending on the weather or the task at hand. Thanks to the zip-off legs, they convert from full-length trousers to shorts in seconds, without any need to change clothes entirely, making them a practical choice for work that spans different seasons and conditions.
The outer fabric is a sturdy T/C panama canvas weighing 320 g/m², built to resist tearing and abrasion while also repelling water, oil and dirt. In practice, that means the trousers can take rough surfaces, building-site grime or oil splashes in stride without looking worn out after a few uses. Reinforcements in original CORDURA® fabric on the knee pad pockets, leg pockets and seat pockets tackle exactly the areas that see the most friction and stress on the job. A contrast-coloured waistband with an elastic insert adds freedom of movement and a secure fit.
The trousers meet EN ISO 13688:2013, which sets out general requirements for protective clothing, and EN 14404:2004+A1:2010, which covers knee protection for kneeling work. The knee pad pockets are designed to take matching, certified knee pads from the teXXor® range (item 8400), extending protection specifically for tasks that involve a lot of kneeling. As Category I PPE, the trousers cover basic protective requirements.
With their tough fabric, reinforced pockets and 2-in-1 functionality, the TOBAGO trousers suit a wide range of settings, including construction and road building, public authorities and organisations, waste management, forestry, garden and agricultural work, landscaping, skilled trades, and transport, logistics and warehousing.
