The teXXor® Canvas work trousers TOBAGO are a 2-in-1 design for anyone who needs to switch between long trousers and shorts depending on the weather or the job: the legs simply zip off. That makes them a practical choice for tradespeople, construction workers and anyone working outdoors in changing conditions who doesn't want to carry two separate pairs of trousers.
The outer fabric is a heavy 320 g/m² T/C panama canvas made from polyester and cotton, extremely tear- and abrasion-resistant, with a water-, oil- and dirt-repellent finish. In daily use that means the trousers hold up against rough surfaces, dirt and moisture without quickly looking worn out. The leg, seat and knee-pad pockets are additionally made from original CORDURA® fabric, a material used specifically where the wear and tear is greatest and extra reinforcement is needed. A contrast-coloured waistband with an elastic insert adds freedom of movement on the job.
The trousers meet the base standard EN ISO 13688:2013 for protective clothing, which sets minimum requirements for ergonomics, harmlessness and labelling, as well as EN 14404:2004+A1:2010, which relates to knee protection during kneeling work. Paired with the matching certified knee pads available separately (item 8400), knee protection can be extended as needed. As PSA category I, they cover basic protection requirements.
That makes the TOBAGO a reliable choice for construction and road construction, public authorities and organisations, waste management, forestry, garden and agricultural work, landscaping, trades, transport, logistics and warehousing.
