The teXXor® Canvas TOBAGO work trousers are a 2-in-1 design with zip-off legs, letting them convert from full-length trousers into shorts depending on the weather or the job at hand. This makes them a practical choice for anyone who needs to adapt quickly to changing working conditions without carrying two separate garments.
The outer fabric is a heavy 320 g/m² Panama canvas made from a polyester-cotton blend, giving the trousers noticeable resistance to tearing and abrasion. The surface finish repels water, oil and dirt, which keeps the trousers easier to maintain and extends their working life even in messy environments. The knee-pad pockets along with the leg and seat pockets are made from genuine CORDURA® fabric, reinforcing exactly the areas that see the heaviest wear. A contrast-coloured waistband with elastic insert adds freedom of movement and a secure fit.
As Category I PPE compliant with EN ISO 13688:2013, the trousers meet the general requirements for protective clothing in terms of ergonomics, harmlessness and labelling. The additional EN 14404:2004+A1:2010 standard relates to knee protection and confirms that the knee-pad pockets are designed to hold certified knee pads -- matching pads from the same range (item 8400) can be added to boost protection during kneeling work.
This makes the TOBAGO well suited to construction and road-building sites, public authorities and organisations, waste management operations, and forestry, garden and agricultural work. It also holds up well in trades, transport, logistics and warehousing, wherever a durable and adaptable pair of work trousers is needed.
