The palm is made from full-grain cowhide leather, a material that holds up well under rough handling of stone, concrete or metal without wearing out quickly. The cotton backhand keeps the glove flexible and comfortable, while the light inner lining with thin polyester fleece keeps the cold out without adding bulk or weight. Reinforced fingertips take the extra wear at the points that need it most, and the open cuff makes the glove quick to put on and take off.
