This service work trouser from Blaklader is cut specifically for a women's fit and designed for those working in trades, gardening, driving, cleaning, warehousing or service roles. The slim fit with pre-shaped legs delivers a close, body-hugging silhouette without restricting movement, while the elasticated waist with drawstring adds extra comfort throughout the day.
The fabric is a stretch denim made from 80% cotton, 17% polyamide and 3% elastane, weighing 300 g/m². Four-way stretch panels at the front, back, crotch and knees give noticeably more freedom of movement, particularly when bending or kneeling. The trousers are also fully scratch-resistant, making them tougher against rough surfaces and sharp-edged materials while still feeling flexible to wear.
The trouser comes with a well thought-out set of pockets: an inner ruler pocket, built-in knee pad pockets, an inner phone pocket, side and leg pockets with a gusset, plus a pen and knife pocket secured with concealed magnetic buttons. A D-ring on the waistband and a plastic zip at the crotch round out the practical details. Sizes in the C range can be lengthened at the leg hem, though this option does not apply to the D sizes.
The trousers are certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and, combined with the 4037 and 4057 knee pads, meet EN 14404-3, the standard covering protection for the knees during kneeling work. This makes them well suited to trades with frequent kneeling tasks, such as flooring and tiling, landscaping or assembly work.
