These craftsman trousers are cut specifically for women working in environments with elevated safety demands, such as electrical work or industrial settings. The women's fit delivers a noticeably better shape than unisex styles, without sacrificing freedom of movement or functionality: two fixed holster pockets, gusseted leg pockets and gusseted rear pockets with snap fasteners provide generous room for tools and accessories, with the left leg pocket also holding an ID card holder. Pre-shaped knees with knee pad pockets accessible from below, plus a raised back waistband with side elastic, keep the trousers comfortable through long shifts.
The fabric blends Modacrylic, cotton, FR polyamide and aramid with a small antistatic component, woven as a sturdy ripstop at 260 g/m². In practice that means a material that holds up to strain and friction while still feeling comfortable against the skin, complemented by a water- and dirt-repellent surface that keeps everyday care simple. Because the trousers are entirely metal-free, using plastic snap buttons and a plastic zipper instead, they are particularly suited to tasks where metal components close to the body pose a risk.
The trousers are inherently flame-resistant, meaning the protection is built into the fibres themselves and does not wash out over time. They are certified to EN ISO 11612, protecting against heat and flame, to EN 1149-5 against electrostatic charge build-up, and to EN 61482-2 against the hazards of an electric arc flash, relevant for work near live electrical equipment. They are also tested for industrial laundering to EN 15797 for up to 50 wash cycles, making them suitable for professional laundry services used by larger operations.
That makes these trousers a strong fit for female electricians and tradespeople working in roles that demand flame and arc protection, while still needing a fit that works for them and enough storage to keep tools close at hand.
