This women's service softshell trousers from Blaklader are cut specifically for a feminine fit and designed for the colder months. They suit anyone working outdoors in wind, rain and cold, or in cold storage environments, and are especially popular among drivers who get in and out of their vehicles throughout the day, since the fabric moves with them rather than restricting them.
The three-layer softshell fabric is made from 92% polyester and 8% elastane, and at 265 g/m² it offers warmth without adding bulk. It's waterproof up to 11,000 mm, windproof, and breathable thanks to a Ret value of 20.0, so moisture generated during work can escape rather than build up inside. Two-way stretch combined with ergonomically pre-shaped legs allows free movement for everyday tasks like bending or climbing in and out of a cab, while the elasticated waistband adds all-day comfort. The fabric is also Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified, confirming it has been tested for harmful substances.
Practical storage comes in the form of an inner tape measure pocket, an inner phone pocket, bellows-style leg pockets, and a dedicated pen and knife pocket, keeping tools and personal items within easy reach. Reflective details on the leg improve visibility in low light, and an adjustable leg hem length option is available on all sizes except the D range.
