The Fiordland winter lace-up boot by LAVORO is a safety boot built for anyone working outdoors in cold, wet conditions who needs reliable grip and warm feet through long shifts. The nubuck leather upper, the padded dust flap with sheepskin trim and the quick-turn MOZ closure combine for a fit that stays secure and adjustable, even after hours on site, without pinching or slipping.
Inside, the boot is fully lined with genuine sheepskin, complemented by a removable sheepskin insole that can be swapped out or dried when needed. The klima-cork footbed system delivers noticeably better insulation against the cold, while the PU/PU outsole with its raised toe bumper keeps grip solid on wet or uneven ground and shields the front of the boot from knocks.
Protection comes from EN ISO 20345:2022 in class S3L CI HI FO SR: a fibreglass toe cap guards against impact, a Kevlar mid-sole provides penetration resistance without the weight of a metal insert, CI and HI ratings mean insulation against both cold and heat coming through the sole, FO stands for resistance to fuel oil, and SR indicates slip resistance. The boot is entirely metal-free, which keeps it lighter and makes it unproblematic at metal-detector checkpoints.
This makes the Fiordland a strong choice for outdoor work in winter conditions, including construction and civil engineering, forestry, general building sites and outdoor logistics roles where cold, wet and uneven terrain are part of the daily routine.
