Product information "Welder Boot Magdeburg S3"
The Magdeburg welding boot is built for anyone exposed to direct heat and flying sparks on the job, such as welders, cutters and metalworkers. Instead of laces, a quick-release buckle lets the boot be put on and taken off fast, saving real time for workers who change footwear often during a shift. A padded collar and dust flap keep the boot sitting securely while blocking dirt and debris from getting inside.
The upper is made from lightly grained leather that is tough yet supple enough to mould to the foot over time. The seams are made from heat-resistant material so they hold up under sparks that would weaken ordinary stitching. A removable insole makes cleaning and airing the boot easier, while a built-in toe cap overlay adds extra protection against abrasion and heat at the front of the boot.
The Magdeburg is certified to EN ISO 20345 S3 HRO SRC. In practice, this means a plastic toe cap guards against impact, a corrosion-free steel midsole stops sharp objects from piercing the sole from below, and the outsole is antistatic, oil- and acid-resistant, and slip-resistant. The HRO rating confirms the sole withstands contact heat up to 300 degrees Celsius, which matters when hot metal shavings or weld spatter land on the floor. An antistatic insole completes the protection inside the boot.
