The "RESIST" winter hardshell jacket from Qualitex's Grizzlyskin line is built for anyone working outdoors in cold, wet conditions who still needs full freedom of movement. It pairs PrimaLoft® insulation with a tough 2-layer hardshell fabric and an ergonomic fit inspired by sport and outdoor garment construction. Pre-shaped sleeves and a seamless underarm gusset mean overhead work or raised arms won't pull the jacket up or restrict movement.
The outer fabric delivers over 100,000 rub cycles of abrasion resistance at a low weight of just 200 g/m², a combination that holds up to frequent washing without making the jacket feel stiff or heavy. The finish stays soft and quiet, which translates into a comfortable feel against the skin and less noise during movement on the job. The highly breathable inner lining doesn't limit the outer fabric's breathability in any way and adds an extra layer of warmth by trapping air between the insulation and the lining. An underarm vent zipper with inner and outer storm flaps allows quick venting during periods of high activity, letting excess heat and moisture escape fast.
The PU membrane is certified to EN 343-4.4 and combines 15,000 mm of waterproofness with 15,000 g/m²/24h of breathability, keeping the jacket watertight through sustained rain while preventing sweat build-up underneath. The fixed hood is mounted at half collar height, so even when worn down, the fully built-up collar still shields against rain and wind; a 2-way adjustment system and a flexible peak stiffener keep it in shape in strong wind without ever blocking the field of vision.
