The RESIST hybrid softshell jacket from Qualitex's Grizzlyskin range is designed for anyone who works outdoors in changeable weather and doesn't want to compromise on freedom of movement or climate comfort. This bundle includes a detachable hood, so the jacket can be adapted to suit the conditions at hand. An ergonomically pre-shaped sleeve with a seamless underarm gusset keeps the jacket in place during overhead work, without riding up or restricting movement.
The jacket combines two different softshell qualities: a 3-layer fabric with a TPU membrane in areas that face more wear, and a 2-layer softshell where climate regulation takes priority. Both outer materials carry a durable water-repellent finish and are highly abrasion-resistant, which in everyday use means the jacket holds up well even after frequent washing. The fleece backing on both outer materials also adds a comfortable feel against the skin or over base layers.
The features are equally practical: two side pockets, two chest pockets and an upper-arm pocket with concealed zips provide plenty of external storage, while a zipped inner chest pocket and an elastic cargo pocket - handy for stowing the hood when it's not in use - complete the interior. A reflective piping adds extra visibility, and the TPU zip pulls are easy to grip even while wearing gloves.
The detachable hood has a stiffened peak that keeps your field of vision clear even in strong wind, and a two-way adjustment at the front and back lets you fine-tune the fit around your head. It attaches via hidden press studs in the collar and split hook-and-loop fasteners that sit flush against the collar design.
