This lined winter vest from Blaklader is built for anyone working outdoors or in unheated spaces during cold weather while still needing freedom of movement. Whether you're a tradesperson, gardener, driver, electrician or warehouse worker, the vest adds a warm layer over a jacket or jumper without restricting your work. The detachable, lined hood can be fitted or removed depending on conditions, and the extended back cut gives extra protection to the lower back against cold and draughts.
The outer fabric is a lightweight, finely woven polyester-cotton blend that feels soft against the body yet holds up well to daily wear despite its low weight. Flannel and quilted linings provide the warmth without making the vest bulky or stiff to move in. The shoulders are reinforced with CORDURA® denim, exactly where tool belts and carried loads cause the most friction. The plastic zip runs smoothly and is less likely to jam in freezing conditions than a metal one, a small but useful detail in winter work.
The vest is also practical where it counts: the front pockets close with zips to keep small items secure, and an inside pocket with a dedicated phone compartment keeps your mobile within reach and protected. A contrast-coloured inner collar and the Blaklader logo on the back give it a clean, functional look. The fabric is certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100, meaning it has been tested for harmful substances and is safe for direct skin contact.
