This Blaklader softshell vest is designed for anyone working outdoors in changeable weather while needing full freedom of movement: tradespeople, roofers, installers, flooring specialists, gardeners, drivers and fishermen all get a vest that blocks wind and rain without restricting the job at hand. The stretch fabric means arm and shoulder movement is not held back by the material, which makes a real difference during overhead work or repeated reaching.
The three-layer softshell fabric, 100% polyester at 305 g/m², is coated to be waterproof up to 10,000 mm and fully windproof, yet stays comfortable to wear thanks to a breathability rating of 4000 g/m²/24h, even during extended activity. Since the seams are not sealed, the vest is built for everyday work in mixed conditions rather than prolonged heavy rain. The extended back keeps the lower back covered when bending down, the adjustable drawcord hem lets you fit it to the weather or your build, and every zipper is water repellent, so moisture is kept from working its way in.
For daily use, the zipped chest pocket, inner pockets and front pockets with zips keep tools, phone or paperwork secure. Certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100, the fabric is also tested for harmful substances where it touches the skin. The vest can be washed at 40°C but should not be bleached, dry-cleaned, ironed or tumble dried, keeping care simple. Available in army green, navy and black from XS to 4XL, it covers a wide size range for work on site, in the garden or on the move.
