The Rofa Kombi 517 from the TREND PROBAN® line is a coverall designed for anyone facing heat, flame or electrical hazards on the job. As a one-piece garment it combines several types of protection in a single suit, making it well suited to work where different risks can occur at the same time, such as metalworking or tasks involving open flame.
The fabric is a twill weave made from 78% cotton, 20% polyester and 2% other fibres, weighing around 330 g/sqm. This blend results in a fabric that is sturdy yet wearable, staying comfortable even during extended use rather than feeling heavy or stiff. Adjustable cuffs and a fitted waistband with elastic at the back move with the body, helping the coverall stay in place during physical work. The thoughtfully designed pockets can be used flexibly, adding practical value to everyday tasks. One key detail is that the Proban® fabric retains its flame-resistant properties even after repeated washing, which matters for garments in heavy daily use.
The Proban® fabric protects against heat and flame as well as welding hazards, against the thermal effects of an electric arc flash, and against small amounts of sprayed or splashed chemicals. It is also electrostatically dissipative, reducing the risk of dangerous static build-up in the work environment. This means the Kombi 517 covers several hazard areas that frequently occur together in industrial and trade settings.
The coverall suits welders, electricians and anyone working near fire, sparks or electrical equipment. It comes in light grey and is available in sizes 98 to 102, covering a wide range of body sizes so the right fit can be found.
